About Us
From procurement to vertical integration
RVF Soluciones Energéticas: integrated oilfield services contractor, founded in Maracaibo in 2013.
History
Our story
2013
Maracaibo
RVF was born as a procurement company for the industrial sector: a small team dedicated to sourcing equipment, spare parts and machinery from manufacturers all over the world. From day one, the vision spoke of being an integrated company — though back then it was more ambition than reality.
Learning the industry from the inside
Procurement was our school. Sourcing equipment from manufacturers around the world, we learned what oil operations truly need: what breaks down, what runs scarce, what it costs to keep things running. That closeness to the problem led us to the next decision.
The leap into services
We opened the services division based in Ciudad Ojeda and bought our first 450 HP workover rig. We stopped merely supplying equipment and started operating it: servicing oil wells with our own people and our own iron.
Growing inward
Instead of outsourcing, we kept adding every link: more rigs, our own transport fleet for rig moves, and machining, repair and fabrication shops in Ciudad Ojeda. Then came the missing layer: process automation and the development of RVF Malinois, our monitoring software.
Today
We kept our word
That vision of being "integrated" stopped being a phrase: 4 company-owned rigs, 300+ people, 800+ wells serviced and the asset’s complete cycle — engineering, shop, well and data — under a single contractor.
The model
Vertical integration
RVF operates on a vertically integrated model: engineering, manufacturing and repair in our own shops, well intervention with our own rigs, process automation and real-time monitoring with software developed in-house. For the client, that means a single contractor accountable for the asset's complete cycle — no intermediaries between the diagnosis, the shop, the well and the data.
A single responsibility
When the diagnosis, the repair, the intervention and the monitoring belong to the same company, no problem falls 'between contractors'. RVF answers for the complete result of the job — not a fraction of it — and the client has a single counterpart from day one to the final report.
A cycle that feeds itself
What the shop learns repairing a piece of equipment improves how we operate it in the field. What RVF Malinois records at the well feeds the diagnosis of the next job. Every link hands information to the next — a continuity impossible to achieve when each phase is executed by a different company.
Speed with our own assets
Rigs, a transport fleet, shops and procurement under one roof mean fewer waits: the rig move does not depend on third parties, the part is machined in Ciudad Ojeda instead of traveling, and procurement — our original trade — sources the spare part from manufacturers we have known since 2013. The asset returns to operation sooner.
