What the service includes
RVF supplies the complete well testing package: equipment, personnel, operations and production certification under a single contractual responsibility. Scopes executed under contracts such as "Well testing with a portable measurement unit".
Test separators
High-pressure horizontal two-phase test separators, ANSI 300 and ANSI 600, with associated measurement equipment.
Pressure control
Choke manifolds, safety valves and emergency shutdown units with a 10,000 psi working pressure.
Multiphase measurement
EMMAD units designed and built by RVF for measurement without separation.
Gas measurement
EMGAD units designed and built by RVF to AGA standards.
Fluid handling
Storage and calibration tanks, heaters and vertical gas flares of up to 14 meters.
Data cabin and laboratory
On-site acquisition, validation and fluid analysis center, where the client monitors the test alongside the RVF engineer.

Conventional well testing with a separator
In the conventional configuration, the horizontal test separator is the heart of the operation: it separates the oil, water and gas phases and allows individual measurement of each one, pressurized sampling and controlled delivery of gas to the flare or the plant. RVF operates test separators with capacities of up to 18,000 barrels per day in liquid phase and 70 MMscfd of gas.
The package is completed with 10,000 psi choke manifolds and safety valves, data headers for monitoring and chemical injection, pressure-rated rigid piping, and tanks from 100 to 500 barrels.

Designed and built by RVF
Measurement units designed and built by RVF
EMMAD — RVF's multiphase fluid measurement unit for data acquisition and analysis — measures and separates the well's phases without a conventional separator: a Coriolis meter, a cone flow meter, a water-cut analyzer, a flow computer and a vertical cyclonic separator, mounted on a portable structure designed for the most demanding access routes.
EMGAD, its counterpart for gas wells, measures flow, temperature and pressure to AGA 1, 2 and 3 standards, built in accordance with API 650 and API 620. Both units are born in RVF's engineering and built in our shops, with a primary Acquisition Unit developed in-house and Hart/Modbus communication. It is vertical integration applied to measurement: the team that runs the test also designed and built the instrument.

Well testing monitoring and documentation software · Developed in-house by RVF
The digital layer of the well testing service
From separator to report: traceable measurement in real time.
RVF Malinois is the software developed by RVF to digitalize its well testing operations. It turns field instrument signals into operational information: live readings of pressure, temperature, flow and water cut, a digital twin of the measurement unit, production trends and a history of every test. The operation is documented end to end — from separator to report — with traceability at every stage of the measurement, and the client follows it through a dedicated read-only portal. Designed to run in the field on a local server, with no dependence on external connectivity, and ready to incorporate advanced analytics on the data it already captures.
Live operational monitoring
Pressure, temperature and flow continuously updated from field instruments; water cut presented according to its source — manual sample or confirmed instrument — and always labeled as such. Well status, official gas line, location conditions and unit health in a single console.
Real-time operations console
Digital twin of the measurement unit
A live representation of the HEMMAD-001 unit: three-phase separator with phase fractions, liquid level, full instrumentation, operating conditions and engineering references. Data organized to diagnose well behavior and support production decisions.

Measurement auditability
Complete traceability of the official measurement: recorded stages — setup, stabilization, official measurement —, operator logbook, alarm management under ISA-18.2 prioritization in the operations console, and exportable reports for documentation and audit.

Client portal · read-only
Your test, on your screen: latest readings, trends and operation information, in English or Spanish. No controls, no noise — the data you need to decide.
Built for the field. Malinois runs on a local server at the location: it acquires, processes and stores data right at the well, with no dependence on external connectivity. Synchronization with the corporate cloud is planned as the platform's next phase.
Every test feeds a structured history per well — the foundation on which RVF is building the platform's next phases: early detection of operational deviations and advanced production analytics.
RVF Malinois is the digital backbone of the well testing service: the test is measured, documented and traceable end to end, and the client follows it alongside the RVF engineer throughout the operation.
06
When it applies
Characterization of production fluids from the formations.
Initial, extended and permanent tests across the different artificial lift systems.
Exploratory well testing.
Post-intervention clean-ups.
Production optimization campaigns.
07
Certification with on-site analysis
Every RVF well testing unit operates with a combined laboratory and acquisition cabin: water and sediment cut, API gravity, gas specific gravity, H₂S, CO₂ and salinity, measured on site with calibrated instruments. Data is validated where it is produced — not days later.
