Automation & Control

Instrumentation, control and commissioning

Automation engineering for oil wells, process plants and rotating equipment — from the panel in the shop to start-up in the field.

RVF covers the complete industrial automation cycle: control architecture design, panel assembly and integration in the shop, on-site instrumentation and calibration, and commissioning with operational support.

Shop

Control and power panels

Panel assembly and integration at the RVF shop in Ciudad Ojeda: motor control centers, variable frequency drives, instrumentation panels and local operator panels, with wiring documented and tested before dispatch to the field.

Platforms

Control systems integration

We work with Allen-Bradley platforms — ControlLogix controllers, PowerFlex drives — and Altronic ignition systems for rotating equipment: integration, migration and support of control systems in wells and plants.

Installed base

Modernization of existing systems

Much of the installed base in the region runs on pneumatic instrumentation and systems with decades of service. RVF works on them without stopping the operation longer than necessary: diagnosis, calibration, and migration to electronic instrumentation and modern control.

Automation closes the loop of RVF's vertical integration: the same contractor that services the well and repairs the equipment also instruments it and starts it up.
