EPC Projects

Engineering, Procurement and Construction for production infrastructure

RVF executes EPC projects on the facilities that sustain the production of oil wells: gas compression units, crude oil heaters, boilers and tanks. One contractor, from engineering to start-up.

02

What we execute

Every RVF EPC project integrates three phases under a single contractual responsibility: detail engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, and construction with our own people and equipment. This is vertical integration applied to construction.

Gas compression units

Major overhaul, assembly and commissioning of compression trains, including large integral engine-compressors.

Crude oil heaters

Repair, bundle replacement and return to service of heaters for crude treatment.

Boilers

Mechanical intervention, instrumentation and testing of industrial steam generators.

Tanks

Repair and conditioning of storage tanks in accordance with international practices.

Execution case

Major overhaul of two Cooper Bessemer GMVH-12 engine-compressors

Units K-500 and K-501: two Cooper Bessemer GMVH-12 integral engine-compressors taken through a major overhaul by RVF, from complete teardown to start-up. The scope included crankshaft removal and verification, component remanufacturing in our Ciudad Ojeda shop and on-site reassembly with our own lifting equipment.

Where the market sees equipment out of service, RVF's vertical integration sees a complete cycle: field diagnosis, machining in our own shop and return to operation. No intermediaries between the problem and the solution.

Lifting, piping and mechanical assembly

Executing EPC in production facilities demands major lifts with our own equipment: overhead cranes, articulated trucks and load-rated rigging, operated by RVF crews.

05

Intervention without stopping the operation

A good share of RVF's EPC projects is executed inside operating plants. That imposes a different discipline: permitting, energy isolation, high-pressure industrial cleaning and permanent coordination with the facility's operator.

06

Our own crews, our own supervision

300+ people make up RVF. On EPC projects, that means mechanical crews, welders, riggers and instrument technicians on our own payroll — not subcontracted — under HSE supervision on every work front.

Vertical integration in action

What is disassembled in the field is remanufactured in our Ciudad Ojeda shop and returns to the facility verified. Our own lathe, milling machine, heat treatment and dimensional control — the same circuit that sustained the overhaul of units K-500 and K-501.
